The Verona ceiling fan has an extremely attractive design; it has a brushed metal finish with silver/grey painted wooden blades and a glass central lampshade. The central light will take one 60W light bulb. To operate the fan there are 2 pull chains, one will control the speed of operation and the other will control the light, there is a switch on the fan housing which will adjust the rotational direction of the blades. The fan is very quiet when in operation and is ideal for keeping you cool in bedrooms or lounges. The four blades can be set to rotate at up to 3 speeds for maximum cooling or quiet operation, they can also be set to rotate in either direction. This reversible rotation feature allows the ceiling fan to be used effectively in the winter time to push warm air down from the ceiling where it rises and gathers. By blowing cooler air up from the room to the warmer ceiling area, the hot air is pushed down without creating rapid air movement or drafts allowing you to maintain a warmer temperature at a lower level in the room.
